hearing all the teachers in our deaf and hard of hearing program talk about what it was like teaching in the south bay in 1975. the year i was born they were still able to smoke cigarettes in the classrooms and they didn’t think twice about getting loaded before back to school night.
yikes, i hope i’m not a lifer, but it’s looking that way.
