policing the universe

my closest friend and mentor at work has my same first and middle name, we both have 2 sisters and a brother, born 4 days apart (except she’s 60). we have a lot in common except i don’t live in a bitchin’ house in palos verdes with a view of the ocean. sigh. also, i don’t have 2 grown sons, but anyway, she gave some advice to her son that she shared with me. she told him not to police the universe because it’s not his job. in this case her son wasn’t too happy with his groomsman hitting on a much younger bridesmaid. her point to her son was it’s nunya biznaz. the other susan gail is a free spirit. she wouldn’t dream of telling someone else what to do or how to behave.
