I am interested to know what people’s average cost per movie “rental” is? For example, since January 1, 2008, I have watched 41 movies via Netflix and I have the $13.99 per 2-movies-at-a-time plan. So I’ve paid about $2.10 per movie including tax. I wonder what $$ per movie most people come in around? Any takers?

My plan is $18.39 a month including taxes. I calculated that over the last 3 months my average is $1.72 per movie. BUT, and this is a huge but, I use the Netflix watch instantly feature all the time. I’ve used it to watch The Office, 30 Rock, Coupling, Heroes etc. Not just TV shows either, good movies like Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day and a new favorite of mine, a Zoe Cassavetes flick called Broken English that I probably never would have seen if I hadn’t been fishin’ around for something to watch.
