it’s worth noting

that right now at 6:07pm it is still light outside. the weather in la is fucking phenomenal today. 

i feel like everyone should be jealous. this one time (15 years ago) when i was in jamaica i was on a cliffside with hammocks overlooking the ocean and stoned out of my mind. there is video of my friend and me talking about how everyone should be jealous of us right at that very moment. being high, in a hammock, on a cliffside overlooking the ocean in jamaica - everyone should be jealous.

there were dozen of rabbits hopping all over the mountain and it was so magical that i wouldn’t have been surprised to see a unicorn. last year when it was year of the rabbit (my year!) i would get all tingly when i’d see a rabbit. now that it’s year of the dragon i’m going to get excited when i see a lizard. that works.

we took the ski lift to hike mt. baldy yesterday. unfortunately, we took a wrong turn and missed the point of our hike completely. hard to do, i know, and it didn’t make sense when our trail turned into a downhill incline. i didn’t mind because the air was fresh and there were beautiful pine cones everywhere.

here’s what you do if

you don’t give a crap about the lakers and you love LA and your new bicycle. you put on your purple jeans and neon yellow tank top. wait for the game to start so the traf might just be a little less scary and you bike over to your friend’s place across town. the game is tied 25 to 25 when you get there and your friends (real fans) can barely take it. they are squirming, but they dig your outfit and they dig you are willing to dance in front of the tv in your helmet to send the good vibes. then while the lakers are closing in, you scoot out so you make it back in time cuz yer worried about this test run. you fuck your chain and fabian fixes it and then you bike home just in time to watch the lakers WIN!!!

today i

went to work and decided the back pain was too much so i went to the dr and he prescribed physical therapy. on my way home i drove by randy newman getting his star on the walk of fame.
