this movie is worth watching. if you spend time in silverlake, echo park or downtown it’s even more interesting. from the commentary i learned they filmed in a neutra house. they did a light study so they knew when to film. the lighting in this movie is sublime.

wedding crashers…god i love this scene.

my observations on bad teacher

• starring cameron diaz’s lipstick.
• i too work at a jams, you know, john adams middle school. 
• abbyjean likes jason segal as jason segal in all of his movies. agreed. 
• i laugh a lot when comedies make fun of teachers. kenny powers does this brilliantly in eastbound and down. 
• justin timberlake could not act his way out of a paper bag. 
• also, cameron from modern family is in this movie and he’s awesome in it.

The bus in the movie Eight Miles High was the actual bus Uschi and Bockhorn drove across Pakistan and India. You can read a conversation with Uschi Obermaier if you want more information. She lives in Topanga Canyon now.

i give the grease sing-a-long an A++. they gave us fun packs with pom poms to shake during the pep rally, bubbles to blow during beauty school drop out, a yellow scarf like cha cha degregorio’s to wave at the start of the street race, and a plastic comb to straighten our pompadours. 

rizzo is totally my favorite. every time i watch the movie, i’m blown away by how amazing stockard channing is. i want to go buy pencil skirts and wide belts and go be fierce at people.

i also want someone to give me a slutty makeover so i can wow people like sandy at the end.

major bonding sesh with abbyjean. we sang our hearts out. it’s a 70mm print and the animations are full of fun.
