I just love the beginning of this story. The tone makes it sound like the guy was taking his pets for a visit to a butcher shop instead of the one way trip it really was.

my first bra intervention came about 10 years ago when my younger sister in her very special/critical way asked me if i was going for a charlie’s angel saggy boob vibe. i remember exactly what i was wearing and where we were…it was at a bowling alley in chantilly. so the next day she dragged me to victoria’s secret to remedy the situation.
cut to last night. i needed new bras big time and i so didn’t feel like shopping for them. i went to gap body and it was a disaster. so i popped into victoria’s secret and this young woman helped me so much. i tried on at least 14 different bras and she totally got what i was saying when we’d find something that was close, but not perfect. anyway, i found the perfect bras for me last night and they already feel like life changers. no matter what your size, it’s worth it to invest some dough and get something that feels great. i truly wasn’t expecting to find anything when i went into VS. this bra just happens to work for me because i need to accentuate what i’m working with. i know some of you just need to strap em down or whatever, but i’m telling you, YOU’RE WORTH IT!

i’m laying on the sofa right now ever so thankful that my family executively decided there was no way in hell i was getting on a plane today. my sister who was in the hospital yesterday arranged all my flights this morning while i was spread out on the bathroom floor. situation not optimal, but it could be worse.

salt n pepper shakers from my younger sister. look, i like pigs with eyelashes and apparently everyone in my family knows it.
some dude my sister met on the internet. they didn’t even go on their first date, but she kept the texts short and he asked why and she said she’d prefer a phone call and for real this doosh responded “haha no thanks good luck.” this guy sounds like an idiot but she wasn’t going to waste her sense of humor on him by replying with what she wanted to say which was, “sounds like i missed the opportunity of a lifetime.” fuck my sister is funny. we both got the same text on valentine’s day that said “happy valentine’s day.” mine from a dude i had dinner with the night before and my sister’s was from this dude she’s been dating since summer…hence the sudden interest in internet dating. i’m really glad my sister laughed when i told her about the text i sent my beau who loves and owns many snakes- “i’m thinking about having rattlesnake for dinner. know any good recipes?” -this completely backfired as he did not get that i was KIDDING. i miss a lot of jokes so i’m going to align with the universe and not think too deeply about him missing my joke and if it means he has no sense of humor. that would be the scariest thing ever. i’d rather get another cat named emily dickinson than date a dude with no sense of humor.

Holy crap! Charlie Sheen was in so many good movies. Lucas, Hot Shots, Major League (my favorite baseball movie ever), Red Dawn, Young Guns. No wonder my sister named her guinea pig Charlie.
