Ended up getting last minute backstage passes for coachella. I have friends in low places.

today was awesome and ugh at the same time. let me just say that i’m sill like WTF? over this poll that proclaims an audiologist is the number one least stressful job in America. ugh.

the awesome part of my day started when i met up with wendy and dede for a hike in griffith park that lasted more than 2 hours. i forgot my camera, but there was such beautiful vegetation all around including milk thistle and eucalyptus along with a number of nameless beautiful flowers that covered the mountainside in orange, pink and yellow. 

We chatted forever and at some point I felt really happy to have friends who are older than me. i teased wendy about her purple prince exercise shoes since she has already gone to see him twice on his 21 night stand and has tickets to see him two more times. dede was looking lovely as always and all i can say is that i’m happy my friends are so fuckin’ cool, smart, funny and awesome.

wendy said it’s okay for me to blog about how hot noah wyle is. he’s really hot. i know his parents because they are always out walking on one of my favorite hiking trails; they are the nicest people on earth. of course they never mentioned that he is their son, but i had heard that rumor through the grapevine…i only tell you that part because i would not have recognized him last night if he weren’t out walking his parents’ dogs.

before i take myself under thought i wanted to write some things down because they are permeating my thoughts and soon they’ll disappear and i’ll forget. so i’m having this love affair with my bike. so much so that i plan my entire weekends around not driving. the past 3 weekends have been loaded with absolute fun and freedom and very little driving. thairin and i had to ditch the cart at the farmer’s market because they changed the parking rules in hollywood and the meters only give you ONE fucking hour if you get there after 11 on a sunday which is lame beyond belief. no matter, now we just grab our bikes and our backpacks and go. biking to cinespia is a major yes. why? because if you have a bike you ride right in. it only sucked because all my friends had to wait in some stupid line so i drank wine by myself and waited. next time i’ll be sure to ride there with a member of my bike gang. yep, so far my bike gang is nora, john d, thairin and wendy. wendy even bought the exact same bike as me. we are in the matte black bike gang. yesterday, john d and i biked to a grill out in echo park and the bike rides were the best part of the day. the grill out would have been super fun if people had bothered to introduce themselves or talk to people they don’t know. usually i’m really good at that stuff, but it wasn’t happening so we hopped on our bikes and went exploring. i guess two awesome parties in a row would be asking too much. oh well, the party on saturday was fun and i should have ridden my bike there, but i had stuffs to carry.
